I’m currently reading How to Write a Book Proposal by Michael Larsen after seeing it recommended by Lea Hernandez. Very good it is too. It takes the reader step by step through the process of writing a winning book proposal that’s sure to impress any would-be publisher. From the all-important introduction through to the sample chapters you’ll need to provide, and everything in between, it’s all here.

Written in a light-hearted, yet comprehensive manner, this book contains so many tips from someone who knows what he’s talking about. It’s mainly aimed at those wishing to write a non-fiction book, but the information is pretty much universal and will equally benefit those turning their hand to fiction.
