A spare full page suddenly becomes home to a triplicate of ads for DC’s output. A nice mix this: mystery, super-hero, and, er… mystery super-hero. The Shadow was still some months off when this ad appeared but it was worth waiting for, featuring, as it did, some prime Mike Kaluta artwork. The covers alone are worth the price of admission. It was still unusual to list an artist or writer as a potential draw, perhaps showing how much faith the editors had in the fledgling penciler.

I also find it quite interesting to note that the company is here referred to as D.C., a convention that was fairly common at the time, but fell out of favour as the decade wore on.
