Back in the day, all comics were supposed to carry a couple of pages of text in order to qualify for second class mailing privileges. Publishers tended to use these for throwaway text stories — Stan Lee got his start writing one — and later, the requirement was fulfilled even more cheaply by letters pages. Occasionally, though, there’d be an attempt to do something a little different, and in the late-60s, DC sometimes had features relating to comics history, or potted biographies of the talent.

“The Wonderful World of Comics” was one such feature, and this installement presented a quiz all about the Golden Age — which might’ve been a bit of a stretch for the intended comics audience of the day, considering the Golden Age had gasped its last some eighteen years previously! Still, here you go, see how you get on. (Click on the quiz to see the answers)
