   Another one of the great artists has left us…

   I know it is the way of life, but it is still sad to see your heroes die!

     Kubert was a true legend, a creator who had been around practically as long as there have been comic books — and was still doing brilliant, vital work. He will be sorely missed. I’m grateful that I was able to tell him on a few occasions how much his comics meant to me.

   That’s a superb cover illustration. Maybe if they did ones like that today, they’d shift a lot more issues.

     You’re not wrong. Covers these days are so generic it’s depressing.
