A fun little page filler by John Costanza, who’s probably most well-known in comics as a letterer. He got his start assisting Joe Kubert on the Tales of the Green Beret newspaper strip, before making the move to comic books from the late 60s onwards. In the days before letterers were given credit, Costanza’s work can often be identified by seeking out page 13. If the number appears white with a black surround, the strip was lettered by Costanza.

As an artist, Costanza mainly drew funny animal strips for Gold Key and Marvel’s kids line.

No idea if Scuba Man appeared anywhere else beyond this single page, but it’s nicely done.
